Chicken anyone?

chick·en
n.

Slang. A coward.

adj.
Slang. Afraid; cowardly.

intr.v. Slang chick·ened, chick·en·ing, chick·ens
To act in a cowardly manner; lose one's nerve: chickened out at the last moment.

To chicken out” means “to become scared and not want to do something”.

Hell, I hate chickens. I like eggs, with the sunny side up.

And yes the north-south divide does exist and I am experiencing it from unexpected quarters.

North south divide

Silverine talks about the great north south divide.

That’s one sore point. I can see the southies vs the northies argument going on for a long time but as soon as the bad northies are driven out of the dravidian land voila!! You have kanndu vs the tamilian and mallu vs the telegu lot.
Wake up silverine. It’s something more then north vs south, its about our (read Indians) ability to form groups and fight against each other. The british have left but their divide and rule policy lives on.
I am a northie and I stay with a kannada guy, never had any problems. Its people like you and your colleagues who have a myopic vision who create such fissures in the society.
I was in Sydney last month and there my Korean manager told me about his experience in US where he was leading a team of 40 engineers out of which 25 were Indians. Within a month the Indians had formed groups, telegu, tamilians, northies and what not. I don't feel like writing about what all they did but my confidence of taking on the world as an Indian had taken a beating. A severe one at that.

Weekend was..

About three roses, pink(assume white),yellow and red.
About a yes and a sheesh.
About an ancient soul and a tree trunk.
About potty soup and the art of picking nose.
About walking in rain and having too many cups of coffee.
About a friend going places and feeling happy about him.

The Bangalore Theatre Group

The Bangalore theatre

No we are not going to stage some play but if you want to get informed about the plays being staged in Bangalore then that's the place to be. Started by Crime Master Gogo, looks like he got this idea during his last train journey in which he got 'N' number of electric shocks. Anyway all is well that ends well.

The theatre scene in Bangalore was rather dull, infact nothing compared to Chennai where they have the likes of Evam. But
Rangashankara is all set to change this.

Why does it always rain on me

For once I am not singing that song.
Mood happy. Infact very happy.

Feeling icky

Somehow this icky feeling is not leaving me. I have been trying hard to get over it but it’s just not going away. I was up late, last night thinking about it.

Is there any innocence left in this world? I asked this question because of the things I have been exposed to in the last couple of days, because things that happened a year back have come to haunt me again.

Why people manipulate others to get something for themselves? Why some people don't care about others feelings?

Also, am I too possessive?

May be I should go back to my Panda book.
